Whitham Therapy Rooms (172a Whitham Road):

My counselling room is based in bright, comfortable, private premises on Whitham Road in Broomhill, Sheffield, S10 2SR.

I am located on the first floor of a building which is shared with the Broomhill Chiropractic Clinic. The first floor of the building is shared with several other counsellors/ therapists.

Accessibility:

My room is on the first floor. The stairs to reach my room are wide and there is a handrail. There is a bathroom on the first floor of the building which you can use. My room is configured so that clients sit on the sofa. This sofa is sturdy and the arms are solid if you need something to lever against for getting up and down. If you have any concerns about this as a seating option, please let me know. I am happy to talk through any adjustments I can make to make things more accessible for you.

Transport:

Travel by car: Please enter S10 2SR into your Sat Nav. There is also a google pin for ‘Crossgate Counselling & Training’. The car park spaces at 172 Whitham Road belong to the chiropractors who occupy the ground floor so please do not drive into the small car park for the building. There are plenty of nearby cheap parking options (please contact me for details). Parking in the area can be busy so you may want to arrive a little early to allow yourself time to find a parking space.

Travel by public transport: Whitham Road is well served by multiple, frequent bus routes (51, 52) and other buses stop close by (120, 10, 10a). 172 Whitham Road is less than 1 minute’s walk from the nearest bus stop.

There are a number of cafes nearby in Broomhill. This includes The Grind Cafe (this is the closest cafe to my counselling room), Bon and Cawa.
